Marvel Rivals Showcases Its Season 1 Darkhold Battle Pass

Marvel Rivals Season 1: Eternal Night Falls – A Deep Dive into the Darkhold Battle Pass

Get ready for the chilling debut of Marvel Rivals Season 1, launching January 10th at 1 AM PST! NetEase Games has unveiled the Darkhold battle pass, plunging players into a gothic world dominated by Dracula. Doctor Strange's predicament sets the stage for The Fantastic Four's heroic counter-offensive against Dracula's sinister forces.

This season's battle pass, priced at 990 Lattice (approximately $10), offers a wealth of rewards. Complete the pass to earn 600 Lattice and 600 Units, usable for future cosmetic purchases or battle passes. The pass itself boasts 10 unique skins, along with sprays, nameplates, emotes, and MVP animations. A significant advantage: unfinished passes don't expire, allowing completion at your own pace.

The trailer showcases a thrilling array of skins: Magneto's regal King Magnus attire (House of M inspired), Rocket Raccoon's Wild West bounty hunter look, and Iron Man's Dark Souls-esque Blood Edge Armor. Peni Parker gets a vibrant blue and white suit, while Namor sports a green and gold ensemble.

Season 1 Battle Pass Skins:

  • Loki – All-Butcher
  • Moon Knight – Blood Moon Knight
  • Rocket Raccoon – Bounty Hunter
  • Peni Parker – Blue Tarantula
  • Magneto – King Magnus
  • Namor – Savage Sub-Mariner
  • Iron Man – Blood Edge Armor
  • Adam Warlock – Blood Soul
  • Scarlet Witch – Emporium Matron
  • Wolverine – Blood Berserker

The season's dark aesthetic is undeniable. Wolverine's skin evokes Van Helsing, while a blood moon casts a sinister glow over the new New York City maps. Loki's All-Butcher skin is menacing, Moon Knight's is starkly contrasting black and white, and Scarlet Witch and Adam Warlock maintain their signature styles with dark twists.

While the battle pass is generating excitement, the absence of Fantastic Four skins has surprised some. Invisible Woman and Mister Fantastic arrive with Season 1, but their cosmetics will be available separately in the in-game shop. With this substantial content drop, anticipation is high for what NetEase Games has in store next.
