Mecha BREAK, the exciting multiplayer mech game, recently wrapped up its open beta on Steam, which concluded on March 16. The game attracted over 300,000 players during this period and has now become the 5th most wishlisted game on the platform. Following the open beta, the developers at Chinese studio Amazing Seasun are actively considering significant changes based on player feedback, particularly regarding the availability of Break Strikers (Mechs) and the use of mech modules in 3v3 and 6v6 competitive modes.
One of the key points of feedback was the initial limitation where players started with access to only one Break Striker. To unlock the other 11, players had to grind through numerous multiplayer matches to earn enough in-game currency. This process could be quite time-consuming, leading to suggestions for a more accessible approach. In response, Amazing Seasun is contemplating making all mechs available from the start of the game. However, the developers have not made any final commitments yet, emphasizing that a live service model is crucial for the game's launch and long-term success.
