Just a few short weeks after developer Dreamcube launched Miraibo GO on mobile and PC, the first in-game season has arrived, perfectly timed for Halloween. Dubbed Abyssal Souls, this new season promises a thrilling mix of spine-chilling horror and exciting new content, especially given the game's impressive milestone of over 100,000 downloads on Android alone.
For those new to Miraibo GO, it's the closest you'll find to PalWorld on mobile devices. Much like 2024's blockbuster hit, you'll explore a vast open-world environment in search of monsters, known as Mira, to capture, battle, and nurture. These Mira come in a diverse array of shapes and sizes, from towering reptilians to adorable bird-like creatures and nimble mammal-esque critters. With over a hundred Mira in the game, each boasts unique skills, abilities, and elemental affinities. Mastering their use in battle involves understanding which Mira excels against others and in specific terrains, be it sandy beaches, chilly mountaintops, tranquil grasslands, or searing deserts.
Beyond capturing and battling, Miraibo GO also lets you return to your base to put Mira to work on building, gathering resources, and farming, adding a domestic twist to the gameplay.
Season Worlds
Miraibo GO's season system introduces Season Worlds, accessible through a new temporal rift in the game's lobby. Each Season World offers unique Mira, buildings, progression systems, items, and gameplay features. At the end of the season, your progress will earn you rewards that you can use in Miraibo GO's main world.
About Abyssal Souls
For its inaugural event, Miraibo GO embraces the Halloween spirit with a themed Season World and a captivating lore. An ancient, mythologized evil known as the Annihilator has emerged, creating an entire island. This formidable Mira is accompanied by event-exclusive minions like Darkraven, Scaraber, and Voidhowl. Your challenge is to defeat these creatures, including the mighty Annihilator, preferably during daylight hours when they are less powerful.
This season introduces fresh mechanics that level the playing field for newcomers. Gaining a level will now modestly increase your health instead of granting attribute points. Additionally, a new Souls system allows you to spend collected Souls on powerful stat bonuses, though losing a fight means losing all your Souls. Fortunately, you'll retain your equipment and Mira upon defeat.
Abyssal Souls also features an event-exclusive PvP system on the Annihilator's island, where free-for-all battles can lead to losing all your Souls or winning valuable loot. Success in these battles earns you Spectral Shards, which you can spend on special items and rewards. Throughout the event, you can explore new buildings like the Abyss Altar, Pumpking Lamp, and Mystic Cauldron.
A new secret zone, the Ruin Arena, offers PvP and a Ruin Defense Event. Alternatively, you can enjoy the special Halloween costumes and accessories, leaving the scarier challenges to the brave.
