Mobile Dredge Port Delayed, Beta Test Announced

Author : Christian Jan 03,2025

Dredge's mobile release delayed until February 2025, but a new closed beta is now open!

Fans of Black Salt Games' Lovecraftian fishing horror, Dredge, will have to wait a little longer for the mobile port. The release has been pushed back to February 2025. However, to soften the blow, Black Salt has opened sign-ups for a new closed beta test.

In Dredge, players take on the role of a fisherman in the eerie town of Greater Marrow. Initially, the job is simple: catch and sell fish. But soon, strange creatures from the ocean depths, mysterious beings, and unsettling events on a nearby island will challenge your sanity and fishing skills.

A worthwhile wait?

The delay is understandable, given the game's expansive world and the complexities of porting it to mobile. The additional closed beta is a smart move, allowing for valuable player feedback before the official launch. Dredge's previous success with awards and critical acclaim suggests the wait will be worth it for those who haven't experienced it yet.

Sign up for the closed beta via this Google form. For a behind-the-scenes look at the game's development and lore, check out Black Salt Games' YouTube channel. And if you need something to play in the meantime, explore our list of the best mobile games of 2024!
