Get ready for the next chapter! The sequel to the Five Nights at Freddy's movie, officially named Five Nights at Freddy's 2, has just dropped its poster—and we can't wait to return to Freddy Fazbear's Pizza for another serving (pun fully intended).
The poster showcases a children's toy called the FazTalker, evoking the look of a two-way radio and those classic Fisher Price microphone-boombox hybrids. It features Freddy Fazbear, the restaurant's main mascot, with speakers or microphones in the ears and an open mouth. Instead of a real bowtie, that area is outlined and replaced with a communication screen. In the poster, the screen displays the message: "You there?"
Clearly, someone is trying to get in touch, likely with Mike, the first film's protagonist, once again portrayed by The Hunger Games star Josh Hutcherson. Given the movie's climax, it's plausible that this poster ties back to William Afton, the owner of Freddy Fazbear's Pizza and main antagonist played by Matthew Lillard.

While Afton, presumed dead at this stage, did not appear as Freddy Fazbear in the first film—spoiler alert: he ultimately became Springtrap, a specific version of the yellow Bonnie rabbit suit familiar to FNAF fans—it's still possible this could be his ghost attempting to communicate from the other side.
That said, there are many possible explanations for the toy, as it isn't part of the original FNAF lore and appears created for the film. Mike's younger sister Abby might own the toy, which could then be used to contact—or even toy with—her, especially since the first film established that the spirits of Afton's victims could communicate through Mike's and Abby's dreams and drawings. It's entirely plausible this device could be repurposed within that framework and used for sinister ends, perhaps to lure the characters back to Fazbear's.
According to a Universal press release, the sequel also has an official tagline: "Anyone can survive five nights. This time, there will be no second chances." Honestly, we're terrified—the first five nights were challenging enough!
The original FNAF movie, released in October 2023, "opened with a record-breaking $80 million and went on to earn nearly $300 million worldwide," according to the studio. The next installment—written by the game's creator Scott Cawthon and directed by Emma Tammi, who also directed the 2023 hit—is scheduled for release on December 5, 2025.
