Treasure maps in Avowed are obtained through various means: purchase, or discovery during exploration. The Painter's Regret map, however, is solely a find-in-the-wild treasure.

It's nestled within Emerald Stair, the second major area you'll explore. Specifically, it's located inside a house at the northeastern edge of Coastal Farms. This sizable house sits prominently before a rock face. Be prepared for a fight; numerous enemies guard the house's exterior.

Accessing the House

Don't expect a simple entry; the front door is locked. After dispatching the external foes, circumvent the house to the right. You'll discover a pathway leading to an accessible back door.

Inside, the treasure map is displayed prominently on an easel, easily identifiable as a large painting. Retrieve the map and prepare for your treasure hunt!
