How to Solve All Password and Padlock Combinations in Lost Records: Bloom and Rage
In Lost Records: Bloom and Rage, you'll encounter three lock-related puzzles by the end of Tape 1. This guide will be updated with solutions for any additional puzzles in Tape 2, set to release in April 2025.
If you miss solving a puzzle like the Corey and Dylan love lock early in Tape 1, you can always revisit it using the game's Scene Selection menu. Additionally, use the Collectible Mode to gather missed items without impacting your story progression.
Corey and Dylan Lovelock in Scene 10 (Lights, Camera, Action!)
The first padlock puzzle appears in Scene 10 of Tape 1, titled 'Lights, Camera, Action!'. After completing the Forest Girls Memoir in the first area, navigate through the park by slipping between two large boulders. As Swann and the group pass a wire fence on Kat's family property, you'll notice a collection of "love locks" attached by young couples. Among them is Corey and Dylan's lock.
To playfully undo their lock, you'll need a four-digit combination. However, you won't find the hint until Scene 24, near the end of Tape 1. Search Corey’s Bag on his bike in the parking lot, where you'll find a Polaroid photo with a caption indicating their anniversary date: August 27, 1994. This date is your padlock code.
Return to Scene 10 via the Scene Selection Menu and Collectible Mode, interact with the lock, and enter 0827. This will unlock the lock and grant you the hidden ‘Heartbreak’ achievement/trophy.
Cabin Padlock in Scene 13 (Cabin in the Woods)
The second padlock puzzle is in Scene 13 of Tape 1, titled 'Cabin in the Woods'. As the girls explore a mysterious cabin in the woods at night, Swann finds a way inside. To continue the story, you must solve the padlock on the front door.
Start by examining the Old Sheet hanging on a wooden beam behind you. It provides visual hints for the lock's four dials, with the first dial already solved. For the second symbol, head to the kitchen area and pull the rope handle to open the trapdoor to the attic. Once inside, turn around to see a crescent moon symbol on the far wall.
For the third symbol, still in the kitchen, examine the can furthest to the left on the stove, covered in spider webs. Flip it over to reveal a leaf symbol on the bottom.
For the fourth and final symbol, inspect the bear trap on the back wall. When it snaps shut, it reveals a star symbol etched on the wood behind it.
With all symbols collected, return to the front door and input the correct sequence on the padlock to free Swann and continue the story.
Blue Spruce Bar Gate Padlock in Scene 24 (Riot Grrrls)
The final padlock puzzle is in Scene 24 of Tape 1, titled 'Riot Grrrls'. As the girls prepare for their impromptu concert at Blue Spruce Bar, they need to find a power source. Follow Autumn and Kat to the gate on the left side of the parking lot, which has a padlock requiring a sequence of cardinal directions.
The solution is nearby. Go to Corey’s bike in front of the bar and check the bag's contents. Inside, you'll find a Pager with a slip of paper under the clip. Flip the paper over to see a sequence of arrows, which is your solution to the Blue Spruce Bar lock.
Return to the gate and input the sequence to access the bar's employee area, where you can find items like the Extension Cord, Power Outlet, and the Breaker Panel puzzle to restore power.
