Humans (Known In-Universe as Folk)
Humans, referred to as Folk within *Avowed*, are the most common race both in the game world and in the character creator. As part of the broader Kith category, which includes various sentient and civilized species, humans are central to the narrative and gameplay.
The character customization for humans in *Avowed* is designed to cater to a wide audience. Players can choose from numerous presets and utilize detailed customization tools. These include a variety of facial presets, a skin tone slider, and diverse hair textures, ensuring players can create a character that closely represents them.
Elves
Elves are another selectable race in *Avowed*. They closely resemble humans but are distinguished by slightly different facial structures and, of course, their iconic long, pointed ears.
Godlikes
A third race option in *Avowed* is the Godlikes. Although all Envoys in the story are Godlike, players can opt to display these unique features or not. Godlikes come with distinctive hair and facial features, ranging from subtle to surreal. At the launch of *Avowed*, players can choose from 14 Godlike facial features and four Godlike hair options, which are available across all character races and body types.
