"Pokémon Presents Event Scheduled for Next Week"

The Pokémon Company has exciting news for fans: a Pokémon Presents event is scheduled to celebrate Pokémon Day next week. Announced via X/Twitter, the event is set for February 27, 2025, and will be broadcast live on the Pokémon YouTube channel at 6am Pacific Time, 9am Eastern Time, and 2pm UK Time.

While the exact content of the event remains under wraps, enthusiasts are eagerly anticipating news about the next mainline Pokémon game, which has yet to be unveiled. The Pokémon Company has already teased fans with the upcoming spin-off, Pokémon Legends: Z-A, slated for release in 2025. However, details on the next official "generation" of Pokémon are still eagerly awaited.

These Pokémon Presents events are known for providing updates on various ongoing Pokémon titles, including Pokémon Unite, Pokémon Sleep, Pokémon GO, and Pokémon Masters EX. Additionally, fans can expect to learn more about the recently launched Pokémon TCG Pocket and updates on the physical Pokémon Trading Card Game.

Reflecting on the last Pokémon Presents, which occurred around the same time last year, the event unveiled Pokémon Legends: Z-A, announced Tera Raid Battle events for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, and shared news about the Pokémon Trading Card Game coming to mobile devices. Unlike previous years that featured multiple events, 2024 had only one Pokémon Presents, marking the first year since 2015 without a major Pokémon game release.
