The 2025 PUBG Mobile Global Open (PMGO) is officially underway, featuring a massive 90,000+ competitor registration—the year's first international PUBG Mobile Esports event. Open Qualifiers kicked off February 13th, providing a platform for rising stars to compete for a coveted spot in the Main Event.
A substantial $500,000 prize pool fuels the competition. Teams will navigate multiple qualifying rounds before facing off against established esports organizations. The amateur-only format ensures fresh talent takes center stage.
Teams boasting at least one Ultimate 500-ranked player (Cycle 7 Season 20 or 21) have already advanced to Round 2 of the Open Qualifiers. Over the coming weeks, aspiring teams will clash for a place in the PMGO Prelims, where they'll contend with top teams from the Uzbekistan Offline Qualifiers.
Twelve teams will ultimately earn the right to challenge PUBG Mobile's elite professionals in the PMGO Main Event. Four professional teams—Regnum Carya, Nigma Galaxy, 4Merical Vibes, and Influence Rage—have already secured their Main Event berths based on their impressive PMGC 2024 performances. Four additional teams will qualify through regional competitions, including PMSL SEA Spring, PMGO Korea Qualifier, and the Peacekeeper Elite League Spring season.
The Open Qualifiers conclude March 2nd, followed by the Prelims (April 10th-11th) and the Main Event (April 12th-13th). This tournament marks the beginning of a thrilling year for PUBG Mobile Esports, with the PUBG Mobile World Cup and PMGC returning later in 2025.
