"Recharge Drone in R.E.P.O.: Acquisition and Usage Guide"

Author : Emery Apr 05,2025

In the chilling universe of *R.E.P.O.*, your survival hinges on the items you collect, which can either propel you to the next level or send you to the dreaded Disposal Arena to fight alongside your teammates. Among these crucial items, Recharge Drones stand out as vital tools for success. Here's a comprehensive guide on how to acquire and utilize them effectively.

What Recharge Drones Do

In *R.E.P.O.*, the Service Station offers a variety of items, some of which are single-use, like Mines and Grenades. Others, however, come with a "battery life" and can be rejuvenated using Energy Crystals. As you start your journey in *R.E.P.O.*, you'll notice a container in your truck designed to recharge your weapons or drones, albeit at the cost of an Energy Crystal.

When you buy additional Energy Crystals, they seamlessly integrate into the container, eliminating any concerns about their disappearance post-purchase. To recharge an item, simply place it in the yellow bucket adjacent to the container, and watch as it regains its vitality. This process is invaluable for maintaining your gear in top condition, readying you to face the next wave of horrors and challenges.

However, the intensity of some levels can cause your items to wear down rapidly. While you can recharge them using Energy Crystals at designated locations, you won't always have immediate access to your truck. This is where the Recharge Drone becomes an indispensable ally, allowing you to manage your items' energy on the move.

How to Get and Use the Recharge Drone in R.E.P.O.

The Recharge Drone, like other items and upgrades, can be found at the Service Station, which you reach after successfully completing a level. This is your opportunity to gear up for the next challenge, provided you have the funds.

Items at the Service Station appear randomly, so it might take several visits before the Recharge Drone becomes available. Once it does, it will cost you between $4-5K. This compact cube will occupy one of your inventory slots, so choose to assign it to slot 1, 2, or 3 after purchase.

You can monitor your items' condition through the battery bar displayed beneath them. To recharge an item, select the drone, activate it by pressing 'E', and then attach the depleted item. Let the Recharge Drone work its magic! When the drone's battery runs out, you can recharge it using Energy Crystals in your truck's container.

Now that you're equipped with the knowledge of where to find and how to use the Recharge Drone in *R.E.P.O.*, you're better prepared to navigate the game's terrifying landscapes and emerge victorious.
