Kamitsubaki City Ensemble: A Post-Apocalyptic Rhythm Game Set to Launch

Studio Lalala's upcoming rhythm game, Kamitsubaki City Ensemble, is poised to launch its Japanese version on August 29th, 2024, across Android, iOS, PC, Switch, and other platforms. Priced affordably at just $3 (440 Yen), this title promises a unique blend of rhythm gameplay and post-apocalyptic storytelling.

A World Rebuilt Through Melody

The game unfolds in a world ravaged by destruction, where AI girls, miraculously surviving the apocalypse, undertake a mission to restore harmony and rebuild civilization through the power of music. The narrative gradually unveils the mystery behind the world's ruin and the AI girls' existence as players progress. Players will actively participate in uncovering the truth and aiding these girls in their musical endeavor.

Gameplay and Features

Kamitsubaki City Ensemble features five AI girls and five witches, each contributing to the vibrant rhythm experience. Players will immerse themselves in the music as they tap along to the beat, choosing from four difficulty levels: easy, normal, hard, and pro. The gameplay starts with four lanes and gradually increases to seven, offering a progressively challenging experience.

The core game boasts 48 songs, with a season pass available for players seeking a continuous stream of new tracks. The official trailer below provides a captivating glimpse into the game's rhythm and visuals.

The soundtrack features a selection of popular tracks from Kamitsubaki Studio and the Musical Isotope series, including fan favorites like "Devour the Past," "Carnivorous Plant," "Sirius's Heart," and "Terra." For the latest updates, visit the official website.
