A 2026 Release
Housemarque's Saros, revealed during the February 2025 State of Play presentation, is slated for release on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 5 Pro in 2026. Building upon the exhilarating gameplay of their acclaimed title, Returnal, Saros introduces a new narrative centered around Arjun Devraj, portrayed by actor Rahul Kohli.
Evolving the Returnal Formula
According to Housemarque's creative director, Gregoy Louden, Saros was conceived to allow Returnal to stand alone as a distinct IP. Saros will refine and expand upon Returnal's narrative and mechanics. Unlike Returnal's ever-shifting roguelike environments, Saros will feature persistent and progressively customizable loadouts, encompassing weapons and suits, enabling players to "Come Back Stronger" and overcome challenges.
