Steam Version of Parallel Experiment Delayed to June, Syncs with Mobile Release

Author : Leo Apr 06,2025

The eagerly awaited cooperative puzzler, Parallel Experiment, from the creative minds at Eleven Puzzles, has faced some unexpected hurdles. Originally slated for a Steam release in March, the game's launch has been postponed. However, fans won't have to wait much longer, as Parallel Experiment is now set to debut across PC and mobile platforms on June 5th.

For those anticipating the Android and iOS versions, the news is particularly reassuring. The developers had contemplated scaling back on optional puzzles, additional mechanics, and possibly even the mobile version to meet the initial deadline. Thankfully, all versions will now launch simultaneously, ensuring a unified gaming experience, complete with crossplay functionality from the get-go.

In Parallel Experiment, players will step into the shoes of detectives Ally and Old Dog, ensnared in a sinister experiment masterminded by the Cryptic Killer. To progress, you and your partner must work together to unravel a series of intricately connected puzzles that demand both teamwork and sharp communication.

With over 80 challenges awaiting, you'll be cracking codes, manipulating water flows, hacking into systems, and even rousing a sleeping drunk. The game's noir-inspired setting and comic book-style visuals create an immersive atmosphere, drawing players into a gripping race against time.

But it's not all high-tension puzzle-solving. Between challenges, you can engage your partner in fun, retro-style mini-games, including darts, claw machines, and match-three puzzles, each with a cooperative twist.

While you eagerly await the release, why not explore this curated list of the best puzzlers to play on iOS to keep your brain sharp?

Interactive dialogues add depth to the mystery, with NPCs dynamically responding to both detectives. And if you're in the mood for a bit of mischief, each level offers playful ways to tease your partner, from knocking on windows to shaking their screen, or even scribbling something cheeky in your detective notebook.

Boasting five times the content of Eleven Puzzles' previous project, Parallel Experiment promises to elevate your cooperative gaming experience to new heights. Mark your calendars for June 5th, and for more details, head over to the game's Steam page.
