Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4 Receives Rating on Singapore Site

Author : Gabriel May 05,2025

The fire of rumors surrounding a potential remake of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4 is burning brighter than ever. Singapore's rating board has recently rated "Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4" for a 2025 release, adding substantial fuel to the speculation. This exciting news points toward a collection that would include the next two mainline entries in the iconic Tony Hawk's Pro Skater series. According to the rating board, the game is set to hit a wide array of platforms, including Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.

Although no official confirmation has been announced yet for this much-anticipated collection, a mysterious countdown timer hidden within Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 has been teasing some Tony Hawk's Pro Skater news. This timer is set to expire on March 4, 2025, hinting that fans might not have to wait much longer for an announcement.

Adding to the excitement, Tony Hawk himself shared during an interview on Mythical Kitchen that he's been in talks with Activision again, and they're working on something special. Hawk assured fans, saying, "It will be something the fans will truly appreciate." Given the success of the Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2 remake in 2020, a follow-up with games 3 and 4 seemed almost inevitable. However, the journey to this point has been fraught with challenges.

The original plan was to move forward with remakes of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4 right after the 1+2 release. But things took a turn when Activision merged the original developer, Vicarious Visions, into Blizzard in 2021, shifting their focus to Blizzard's projects. Tony Hawk revealed in a 2022 Twitch livestream that Activision struggled to find a new developer they trusted as much as Vicarious Visions. Despite pitches from various studios on what they could do with the THPS title, Activision wasn't satisfied, and the project seemed to hit a roadblock.

Now, with the Singaporean ratings board listing Activision as both the publisher and developer for Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4, the big question remains: who is actually developing this game? The countdown timer ends next week on March 4, which could finally provide the answers fans have been eagerly awaiting.
