Marauder Tech Games has launched the open alpha test for Price of Glory: War Strategy, a tactical game that immerses players in a classic medieval fantasy setting. This turn-based game focuses on head-to-head duelling and strategic gameplay, offering a rich experience for strategy enthusiasts.
Here’s the Setup
Set in a gritty medieval world, Price of Glory: War Strategy features stunning yet brutal landscapes ranging from deserts and forests to lava-filled arenas. Each turn, players advance their troops, strategically position them, and make critical decisions to defend their stronghold while weakening the enemy's defenses.
Players can choose from a variety of factions and troop types, including scouts for reconnaissance, knights for direct assaults, and healers to sustain their forces. The game operates asynchronously, allowing players to plan their moves within a 24-hour turn limit. For those seeking quicker action, the blitz mode offers intense five-minute rounds.
Price of Glory caters to different play styles with its diverse modes. The skirmish mode provides a low-stakes environment to experiment with new strategies. For more competitive players, the game offers tournaments with single-elimination brackets and substantial prizes.
Additionally, the game features salt tournaments and cash tournaments. Salt tournaments are free-to-enter, where players can earn salt crystals by watching ads or completing small tasks. These crystals can then be used to participate in cash tournaments, offering a chance to win real money.
Animo is the essential resource in Price of Glory, used to recruit new units, move them, launch attacks, or execute special abilities. With a limited amount of Animo available each turn, every decision is crucial, especially when facing off against real players.
The open alpha test for Price of Glory: War Strategy is currently available for Android users in North America and Oceania. If you're in these regions, you can download and try the game from the Google Play Store.
