Xbox Game Pass January 2025 Lineup: A Snow-Filled Second Half
Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers are in for a treat in the latter half of January 2025. While the first half of the month saw relatively few new additions, the second half boasts a strong lineup of day-one releases, starting with Lonely Mountains: Snow Riders on January 21st.
This exhilarating skiing game, featuring both co-op and PvP modes, will be immediately available to Ultimate subscribers upon its release. This follows a trend of day-one titles being initially exclusive to the Ultimate tier.
The January 2025 Game Pass additions also include:

- January 7th: Road 96
- January 14th: Diablo (PC Game Pass) and EA Sports UFC 3
- January 21st: Lonely Mountains: Snow Riders
- January 28th: Eternal Strands
- January 30th: Sniper Elite: Resistance
- January 31st: Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector
Beyond Lonely Mountains: Snow Riders, Eternal Strands, an action-adventure game with strong Zelda influences from BioWare veteran Mike Laidlaw's Yellow Brick Games, is another highly anticipated title launching on January 28th. Citizen Sleeper 2 and Sniper Elite: Resistance round out a robust end to the month.
February 2025 currently appears less substantial, with only Avowed confirmed for February 18th (Xbox Game Pass Ultimate). However, January's impressive additions offer plenty to keep Ultimate subscribers entertained in the meantime.
