Access and use photos directly from your Canon camera over a Wi-Fi connection
The Canon Camera Connect app lets you transfer pictures from compatible Canon cameras to your smartphone or tablet.
By connecting your mobile device to a camera via Wi-Fi (either directly or through a wireless router), this app offers the following functions:
・Transfer and save images from the camera to your smartphone.
・Remotely control the camera and view a live image feed on your smartphone.
・Connect to various Canon imaging services.
For compatible cameras, the application also provides these additional features.
・Acquire location data from your smartphone and embed it into images stored on the camera.
・Switch to a Wi-Fi connection from a paired Bluetooth-enabled camera (or with a single touch using an NFC-enabled camera).
・Remotely trigger the camera shutter via a Bluetooth connection.
・Transfer the latest camera firmware.

-Bluetooth System Requirement
For Bluetooth connectivity, your camera must have Bluetooth capability, and your Android device requires Bluetooth 4.0 or higher (supporting Bluetooth Low Energy technology) with Android 5.0 or later installed.

-Compatible File Types
JPEG, MP4, MOV
・Importing original RAW files is not supported (RAW files will be converted and resized as JPEGs).
・MOV files and 8K video files recorded with EOS cameras cannot be saved to the device.
・HEIF (10-bit) and RAW video files from compatible cameras cannot be saved.
・AVCHD files recorded with compatible camcorders cannot be saved.
-Important Notes
・If the application does not work correctly, try closing and restarting it.
・This application is not guaranteed to work on all Android devices.
・When using a Power Zoom Adapter, please ensure the Live View function is turned ON.
・If an OS network confirmation dialog appears when connecting to the camera, check the box to allow the same connection in the future.
・Images may contain personal information, including GPS location data. Please use caution when sharing images publicly online.
