TRAGsoft is developing a roguelike spin-off to their popular monster-taming RPG, Coromon. Announced for nearly all major platforms, including Android, Coromon: Rogue Planet is slated for a 2025 release.
What's New?
The developers have unveiled a new trailer showcasing the game's features. Coromon: Rogue Planet blends classic turn-based combat with roguelite elements. Players will explore the ever-changing Veluan wilderness, featuring over ten biomes that shift with each playthrough.
A key feature is the "rescue and recruit" mechanic, allowing players to unlock seven unique characters with distinct playstyles by aiding them in the wild. Over 130 monsters, each possessing unique elemental affinities, personalities, and abilities, await discovery.
A meta-progression system ensures continuous character and equipment upgrades, adding depth to the gameplay. Players will also gather resources and contribute to an interstellar spaceship mystery, fostering a collaborative element.
