The legendary 2011 comic Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe earned its reputation by showing Wade Wilson's deranged rampage through Marvel's pantheon. Its success spawned 2017's sequel Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe Again. Now, writer Cullen Bunn and artist Dalibor Talajić reunite for the explosive conclusion - Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe One Last Time. This time, Wade's murderous campaign expands beyond a single reality to threaten the entire Marvel multiverse.
The Multiversal Massacre Begins
IGN recently interviewed Bunn about this bloody trilogy finale. Below we share exclusive preview artwork followed by insights into Deadpool's reality-hopping slaughter spree.

As Marvel's most prolific Deadpool scribe (Night of the Living Deadpool, Mercs for Money), Bunn reveals these sequels weren't originally planned: "I never knew that series would become a trilogy. When finishing the first book, I pitched Deadpool Kills the Marvel Multiverse among other ideas. Now proves the perfect time for this expansion."
Escalating the carnage presented creative challenges: "How do you top killing every Marvel hero? Answer: unleash Deadpool across infinite realities." Readers will witness Wade battling twisted variants like Cap-Wolf and Worldbreaker Hulk alongside obscure multiversal characters unseen for decades.
"We're crafting Deadpool's most epic story ever," Bunn teases. Talajić's art will again evolve, though differently from the style-hopping sequel: "Dalibor brilliantly reimagines monstrous hero variants and introduces the most insane [REDACTED] ever depicted."
Standalone Yet Connected
While the first two volumes presented independent killing sprees (one nihilistic, one mind-controlled), this finale subtly nods to predecessors while standing alone. "Observant fans may spot connections," Bunn hints, "but newcomers can dive right in."
Remarkably, this homicidal Deadpool may be the most sympathetic yet. "We asked: what if readers actually root for Wade's multiversal massacre?" Bunn explains. "His mission and mindset make this uniquely compelling."
