The Peak Hunters app features a growing database of peaks primarily in the Czech Republic and surrounding regions. Using your phone's GPS, you can log your ascents to earn points based on the peak's altitude and climb difficulty. You can also add personal ratings and photos for each summit you conquer. All peaks are clearly displayed on the map, and you can filter them by country, mountain range, or distance from your current location. Download offline map data for reliable navigation in areas with weak signal—these maps use OpenStreetMap and include marked hiking trails. If a peak is missing or you plan to visit an unlisted hill, you can submit it by long-pressing the location on the map. Once approved, it joins the database, and you earn bonus points for the contribution. Peak Hunters offers an expanding set of statistics and collectible badges. You keep all badges you earn, and rare ones come with special recognition. Check a detailed 48-hour weather forecast for any peak to help plan your trip. A standout feature is peak identification: point your phone at a summit with the distance filter adjusted, and the app can recognize it. You can use the app completely anonymously in incognito mode, which functions identically but doesn't allow profile transfer, logout, or data recovery if your device is lost. We recommend trying incognito mode first, then converting to a registered profile. The app is completely free and ad-free, born from a hiker's passion for a tool to collect peaks on travels with offline maps. You can now manually toggle between dark and light mode in your profile settings.
