• If you cannot download the app via the Google Play Store, try the steps below.
- Restart your phone, then navigate to Settings → Apps → Google Play Store → Clear cache and data → Attempt the download again.

▣ Who can transfer?
• Android™ Users
- Wireless transfer: Requires Android 4.0 or higher.
- Wireless transfer from a compatible Android device to a Galaxy device: Requires Android 4.0 or higher. (Note: Non-Samsung devices running Android versions below 6.0 can only connect to Galaxy devices that support a mobile AP.)
- Wired transfer: Requires Android 4.3 or higher, a charger cable, and a USB connector.
• iOS™ Users - choose the method that suits you best:
- Wired transfer from your iOS device to your Galaxy: Requires iOS 5.0 or above, the iOS device cable (Lightning or 30-pin), and a USB connector.
- Import from iCloud™: Requires iOS 4.2.1 or higher and your Apple ID.
- PC/Mac transfer using iTunes™: Requires the Smart Switch PC/Mac software – Get started at http://www.samsung.com/smartswitch.
• Windows™ Mobile Users
- Wireless transfer: Requires Windows OS 10.

▣ What data can be transferred?
- Contacts, calendar (Device content only), messages, photos, music (DRM-free content only, iCloud not supported), videos (DRM-free content only), call logs, memos, alarms, Wi-Fi settings, wallpapers, documents, app data (Galaxy devices only), home screen layouts (Galaxy devices only).
- You can transfer app data and home screen layouts by upgrading your Galaxy device to M OS (Galaxy S6 or newer).
▣ Which devices are supported?
• Galaxy: Recent Galaxy smartphones and tablets (From Galaxy S2 onwards).
- Note: For the Galaxy S2, older OS versions (GB/ICS) may cause incompatibility. If your S2 is not working correctly, please try after a firmware update.
• Other Android devices:
- HTC, LG, Sony, Huawei, Lenovo, Motorola, PANTECH, Panasonic, Kyocera, NEC, SHARP, Fujitsu, Xiaomi, Vivo, OPPO, Coolpad(DazenF2), RIM(Priv), YotaPhone, ZTE(Nubia Z9), Gionee, LAVA, MyPhone(My28s), Cherry Mobile, Google(Pixel/Pixel2).
- Note: Due to factors like device compatibility, installing and using Smart Switch may not be possible on certain devices.
- To transfer data, both devices need at least 500 MB of free space in their internal storage.
- For a wired connection, your device must support the 'Transferring media files (MTP)' USB option to allow content transfer.
- If your non-Samsung device keeps disconnecting from the wireless network, go to Advanced Wi-Fi settings, turn off "Wi-Fi initialize" and "Disconnect low Wi-Fi signal" options, and try again.
(The availability of these options depends on your device manufacturer and OS version.)

The app requires the following permissions to function.

. Call logs: Used to transfer call history data.
. Contacts: Used to transfer contact data.
. Calendar: Used to transfer calendar data.
. SMS: Used to transfer text message data.
. Storage: Used to save files necessary for data transfer.
. Microphone: Used for high-frequency audio when searching for nearby Galaxy devices.
. Bluetooth: Used to search for nearby Galaxy devices via Bluetooth.
. Location: Used to connect to devices using Wi-Fi Direct, which makes your location visible to nearby devices.
If your device runs a software version older than Android 6.0, please update it to configure app permissions.
Permissions granted previously may be reset in the Apps menu within device settings after a software update.
