Supergiant Games has unleashed the highly anticipated Olympic Update for Hades 2. The developers plan to closely monitor player feedback to refine the update's impact. This substantial update brings a wealth of new content, including a breathtaking new area, a formidable new weapon, additional allies, fresh animal companions, and numerous cosmetic options.Key highlights of the "practically mountain-sized" Olympic Update include:

Currently in early access, Hades 2, the sequel to Supergiant Games' critically acclaimed 2020 title, is slated for full release and console launch next year. Released on PC in May, it's already lauded for its replayability and impressive content. The Olympic Update significantly expands upon this, adding hours of gameplay, new dialogue, and voice lines, culminating in the thrilling addition of Olympus and the looming presence of Zeus's throne.
The update also features refinements to Melinoe's abilities, including a faster, more responsive dash and reworked specials for several Nocturnal Arms (Witch's Staff, Sister Blades, Umbral Flames, and Moonstone Axe). However, this enhancement is matched by significant enemy upgrades and new threats.
Mount Olympus introduces new Wardens and a formidable Guardian. Existing Surface enemies have also undergone adjustments:
⚫︎ Chronos: Reduced downtime between phases; minor adjustments. ⚫︎ Eris: Various adjustments, notably reduced tendency to remain in flames. ⚫︎ Infernal Beast: Faster respawn after the first battle phase; minor adjustments. ⚫︎ Polyphemus: No longer summons Elite foes; other minor adjustments. ⚫︎ Charybdis: Fewer phases, but with increased attack intensity and reduced downtime. ⚫︎ Headmistress Hecate: Loses invulnerability sooner after her Sisters of the Dead are defeated. ⚫︎ Ranged Enemies: Reduced simultaneous attacks. ⚫︎ Other Minor Adjustments: Numerous smaller changes to enemies and combat encounters.
