Marvel Rivals Welcomes Invisible Woman and More in Season 1

Get ready for a thrilling update to Marvel Rivals! NetEase Games has unveiled a sneak peek at Invisible Woman from the Fantastic Four, along with a host of new content arriving on January 10th at 1 AM PST with Season 1: Eternal Darkness Falls.

This major update includes:

  • Invisible Woman's Debut: A gameplay trailer showcases Invisible Woman's unique abilities, including her offensive and supportive attacks, knockback, invisibility, double jump, protective shield, and area-of-effect invisibility ultimate. She appears to blend Strategist and Support roles effectively.

  • New Maps and Game Mode: Prepare for fresh battlegrounds and a revamped gameplay experience. Specific details on the new game mode remain undisclosed.

  • Updated Battle Pass: A new battle pass offers exciting rewards for players to unlock.

  • Mister Fantastic's Reveal: A separate trailer highlights Mister Fantastic's abilities, showcasing his versatility as a potential hybrid between Duelist and Vanguard classes.

While Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman debut in Season 1, Human Torch and The Thing will arrive later in a mid-season update approximately six to seven weeks after launch. NetEase Games has confirmed that seasons will run for approximately three months.

Season 1 Antagonist: Dracula

Season 1 will feature Dracula as the primary antagonist, a choice that has sparked some speculation about the absence of Blade, whose in-game assets have been datamined. While many players express disappointment over Blade's delayed arrival, the anticipation for the new content remains high.

The addition of the Fantastic Four, new maps, a new game mode, and the intriguing presence of Dracula promise a significant and engaging update to Marvel Rivals.
