This week, the InZOI development team is taking a well-deserved New Year’s break (a three-day holiday in South Korea). Before their break, project lead Hyungjun "Kjun" Kim shared some exciting news about highly requested features, confirming which will be implemented and to what extent.

Get ready to bring your own face into InZOI! Real facial capture will be used to create zoi templates, a feature previously announced. Kjun emphasized that the team is committed to making this process as streamlined and user-friendly as possible.

While you'll be able to customize your in-game experience with personal pets, this feature won’t be available during early access. Patience, pet lovers! (Kjun, a self-proclaimed animal enthusiast, understands the wait.)

Prepare to explore InZOI's verticality, with buildings reaching a maximum of 30 floors. While the game engine supports taller structures, this limit ensures optimal performance.

Gas stations and, more importantly, fights will be integrated into the game. Responding to player feedback regarding the initial "slap" mechanic, Kjun confirmed the implementation of fully realized fight sequences with clear winners and losers.

Finally, a comprehensive tutorial will be included, recognizing that many players new to the genre will be joining the InZOI experience.

Currently, Krafton still plans to release InZOI in early access at the end of March, with no anticipated delays.
