Launching December 4th (EST/PST), Infinity Nikki's 25-minute documentary showcases years of dedication and passion. The project began in December 2019, a closely guarded secret with a dedicated, separate office, as the Nikki series producer envisioned an open-world adventure for Nikki. Over a year was spent recruiting, conceptualizing, and building the game's foundation.
Game designer Sha Dingyu highlights the unprecedented challenge of integrating the established Nikki IP's dress-up mechanics into an open-world setting. This required creating a completely new framework, a process described as challenging but ultimately rewarding.
The journey from mobile game origins (NikkuUp2U, 2012) to the fifth installment, and first PC/console release, demonstrates a commitment to technological advancement and the evolution of the Nikki IP. The producer's clay model of the Grand Millewish Tree serves as a powerful symbol of this dedication.
The documentary offers stunning previews of Miraland, focusing on the Grand Millewish Tree and its Faewish Sprites.
